Spiritual Consultation
For people who attend my meditation classes, retreats, and other events, they can often have experiences in their meditation, or out in the world, that they need help interpreting and integrating into their spiritual development. This can include confusing or intriguing images seen in meditation, relationship conflicts or soulmate questions, vivid dreams, a theme of signs or relational patterns that they want to examine, or spiritual conflicts regarding self, others, God, and the world.
I have been helping people make sense of their spiritual experiences, and move forward with their spiritual work for years through my Tantra classes and individual relationships I have developed with students. I have decided to offer spiritual counseling services to help people process, integrate, and make sense of these experiences. I can also provide recommendations for next steps in your spiritual practices, or what to bring to therapy to discuss further regarding your emotional/psychological health. I can meet with you on Zoom (or in-person if you are a meditation student) for one hour to discuss your experiences and questions.

Is this only open to your meditation students? Does my religious affiliation matter?
No, anyone can reach out!
Can I see you on a weekly basis?
No, it is probably best that you leave time in between our meetings to see how certain spiritual processes pan out. We would likely meet once every few months as needed, but could be more or less depending on the issues you consult me about — ask me more in the session!
Is this spiritual therapy?
My spiritual consultations do not constitute clinical psychotherapy services. I will not provide a diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy, or provide any sort of clinical interventions. This is not meant to be a therapeutic service. Please refer to my “Therapy Services” page for more information on psychological services that I offer. I cannot meet with you on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. I will not be giving any clinical or treatment recommendations. Attending a session with me does not constitute the beginning of a therapeutic relationship. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please go to your closest psychiatric emergency room, or call 311 to be connected to mobile crisis services.
Can you give me a psychic reading, astral healing, reiki, astrology reading, exorcism, or tarot card reading?
No.
How much does it cost?
These types of spiritual consultations are based on similar practices in the Tantra lineages. Therefore, I use the guru dakshina system to determine the fee. Historically, the kings or royalty would pay the equivalent of the cost of a cow (!), and then the dakshina is divided by thirds until a person reaches a fee that feels comfortable for them. The breakdown would be as follows:
