Introduction to Hinduism for Practitioners

Designed for practitioners, this 8-week course introduces students to Hinduism through a study of its unifying beliefs, values, history, and common practices. Students are encouraged to use critical thinking to examine the material presented to them to come to their own conclusions about what should be a part of their faith and observances. Traditions from around the Indian subcontinent, as well as in diaspora contexts, are included in the course, as well as the evolution of thought and practice from pre-history to the modern era.

It’s best to attend the whole course for a holistic understanding of the material, but drop-ins are welcome!
